Swachha Bharat Avijan & Mission Nirmal Bangla
As previous year Our Trust had arranged Swachha Bharat Avijan at Jalchak Market Area. Our members, local people gathered to take part in this voluntary program on that day at 8-30 a.m. Local shopkeepers highly cooperate with us to fulfill this program. We clean the garbage in the bazaar area and sweep away from the bazaar area also applied Bleaching Powder, DDT, Phynil for purification. Total contribution received from collection voluntarily.
Swami Vivekananda Mission Rural Library
“Swami Vivekananda Mission Rural Library” was continued by our charitable trust. it was established on 01.01.1998. Trust-cum-library was served by One Librarian & One Assistant as Mr. Binoy Ranjan Paul & Mr. Tapan Kumar Maity weekly five (5) days from 10-30 a.m to 5 p.m. According to Assets Register 1805 nos. The book is presented in various types of Short Story, magazines, essays, Autobiography, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Ved, Kathamrita, Bhagavad Gita, English poems, prose, etc., and daily we collect newspapers for the reader. Local & outside contribution was only the source of income. No Govt. Grant was received up till now. As per registrar at present no. of readers 147 Nos. Hope in the future it will be increased.
Tree Distribution & World Environment Celebration
Our charitable Trust had celebrated 5 June as World Environment Day through Tree Distribution among Rural Farmers and Students. Distributed Trees had different types of Medicinal Plants, Saplings of Wooden Tree also. Our volunteers enthusiastically participated in this awareness program at 10-30 a.m. We had arranged this Distribution Programme at Gokulchak. 1000 nos. saplings had been distributed by our Trust on that day. To increase greenness we arranged so.
Marriage Help
As previous years, our voluntary Trust had contributed Marriage help among needy families in our locality. During this financial year 10 nos. Needy Family had been benefited during this auspicious program. Our volunteers & panchayat members- participated in this welfare program. Jalchak-1 No. Gram Panchayet Pradhan Mr. Ajit Das & Members including Social Worker were eyewitnesses for this auspicious ceremony. They bless them for their happy & prosperous life. Local villagers also came forward to physical help for their marriage ceremony.
Farmers’ Help
To observe “Farmers Day/Kishan Divas’’, our voluntary Trust had arranged the Farmers’ Help program in our Trust Office. To help needy farmers our voluntary trust came forward and helped financially for purchasing Seeds; Pesticide, Fertilizer, etc. before “Aman Kharif” during the financial year 2017-2018. Volunteers, Panchayat members made a list of beneficiaries for that purpose. As per the list, we help 12nos. needy farmers for the above purpose.
Educational Kits Distribution
To celebrate Teachers Day, we arranged Educational Kits Distribution among needy but meritorious Students in our local School. To help & support education among needy students and also fostering education in a rural area among local children our voluntary trust arranged Educational Kits Distribution. For that purpose, we invited local 20 nos. schoolchildren and distribute textbooks and accessories to implement these activities in the presence of Local Panchayat members, Headmaster, and other renowned persons.
Health & Eye Check up
Our Voluntary Trust has arranged a Health & Eye Check-up Camp at Jalchak Auditorium Hall, Pingla Pry. School, Kharagpur Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, at Balpai High School with different specialist Doctors as Dr. Pallab Kr. Das (Eye Specialist), Dr. Jayanta Bhattacharyya (Eye Surgeon), Dr.Subhara Shil & Dr. Indranil Deb (Eye Specialist), Dr. Soumajyoti Dutta Majumdar (Eye Surgeon), Dr. Asim Kr. Das (General Physician) and Camp-in-charge Maloy Samanta. This program was convened in collaboration with VIVEKANANDA NETRA NIRAMAYA NIKETAN ASHRAM Chaitanyapur, Haldia.
Help to Poor Patients
We arranged Free Eye operation among rural needy eye patients to fulfill ‘help to poor patients’ collaboration with “Vivekananda Netra Niramaya Niketan Ashram- Chaitanyapur, Purba Medinipur”. 45 Nos. cataract patients enlisted their name in our trust office previously. We arrange their operation on that day with the help of above organization.
